Rights Managed
Rights Managed means
an End User is allowed to use the image(s) for a period of
up to four years in the distribution quantity purchased.
The license can be renewed. For Web site use, image
rights are divided into two categories - single page use
versus all pages in a single Web site options. View

You are
allowed to:

Back-up, or archive the Images as necessary
for internal use only.

Use the Images in electronic or print media,
depending on the type of Use purchased, including advertising and editorial use, and
consumer merchandise. CD or DVD
distribution as part of an interactive disc
must purchase based on print distribution
model, not Web use.

Use the Images for items for resale, such as
book covers and consumer merchandise
packaging, provided these products are not
intended to allow the re-distribution of the
Images themselves, or to sell as image collections such as photographic books or screensaver programs.

Convey to a third party (such as a printer),
temporary copies of the Images that are
integral to your work.

Modify or alter the Images as necessary for
your use, (rights to any derivative work are
also bound by the license).

You are not
allowed to:

Transfer the rights to the Images to another
party. All
rights are reserved by America the Beautiful
Photos and
it's consigned photographers.

Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble
any part of the Images.

Copy or reproduce the Images, except as
specifically provided for above.

Use the images in photographic books or
screen saver programs.
-

Display the Images for any digital use
(online or with presentation software such
as Powerpoint) at a resolution greater than
800 x 600 pixels.

Use the Image(s) or any part of it/them as
part of a trademark, branding, logo or
similar use.

Share the images (Re-sell, distribute or
sub-license), or the rights to use the
Images to anyone for any purpose.

Use the Images in any way that could be
considered defamatory, libelous,
pornographic, obscene, or fraudulent.
You are
required to:

Provide the End User Name and Company
Represented for the actual use.

Give a photo credit, and/or provide
copyright information about the photo on the
finished work.

Either renew the license or destroy all
copies of the image after the sooner of four
years or the distribution limit has been
reached.

Rights Managed Image Sizes
You need only decide the
distribution quantity and the size
needed. Images are available in
multiple sizes ranging from 500KB to
8MB.
Using Rights Managed Images on
Web Sites
For Web site use, image rights can
be purchased for two types of uses —
use on a single web page versus use
on multiple pages within a single
site. The 1MB file size can be
converted from 300 dpi to 72 dpi and
interpolated without much quality
loss to sizes in excess of 800
pixels wide.
All rights managed licenses are for
up to four years use. It is the
customer's responsibility to track
the renewal date for the images
used; the customer will be held
accountable for use beyond the
license agreement.

name, appear adjacent to the Image or on a
credit page in your work. You will be
provided the photographer's name
with your disk or download. It can
also be found in the embedded Info
on the digital file.
