Preparing to bike down the 7800 feet and 12 1/2 miles of Barr Trail on the east face of Pikes Peak. ******************************************************************** Over a decade ago we moved to Colorado. Since then our fondness for the Centennial state has grown, having taken part in much that Colorado and the rest of the West offers. We have hiked and biked up and down steep terrain. We have reached heights where the air is thin, the skies are cobalt blue, and the climate changes by how high you go, not by how far you are from the equator. The West offers a dangerous beauty. The weather can be fast changing, and the wilderness is unforgiving to the careless. The mountains are riveting from a distance and imposing when close. You feel very small where the ground runs up fast and the water flows down with power. We enjoy capturing the magnificent scenes through the lenses of a camera for all to see. In the photography section of my website, enjoy the Creation at its best. Welcome! Come back often to see and experience more.
